Camping & Parking Info

Quiet Camp is one of only a handful of campsites that offer camping for the Oregon Country Fair. We are located close enough to the OCF Main Stage that you can enjoy the music from the comfort of your campsite. Situated on pastoral acreage bordering the forested banks of the Long Tom River, Quiet Camp provides camping opportunities for RV’s, camper vans, and tents. This ‘rustic camping’ environment welcomes festival goers and gentle jammers who are willing to be respectful, peaceful, and neighborly.

Camping is open to Oregon Country Fair attendees who are willing to engage in a camping community where mutual respect, caring, and calm prevail. Loud or aggressive campers are not welcome. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for any form of harassment.

We are within a 10 minute walk to the OCF Main Entrance and Hilltop Market (a well-stocked convenience store with the basics), and a 20 minute walk to the Veneta shopping plaza with a Rays Grocery Store, a drug store, and a few small restaurants & shops.

CAMPSITES & PARKING

The front field of the campground is designated for our Registration and Check-in Area, Food Vendors, Stage, and Overflow camping.

PASTURE LAZIN’. The west side of the campground is rolling farm land. The majority of our guests camp here. Campsites in this area are for campers who wish to have their vehicles with them at the campsite. There is not a lot of shade in the pasture, so please bring supplies to create a bit of a shady respite for yourself! This area is best suited for campers who wish to camp in or near their vehicle.

REDWOOD GROVE. SOLD OUT for 2017. Exclusive camping under the canopy of old growth redwoods.  String up a hammock and relax in the shade, while enjoying the pulse and energy of camp. Each of our ten designated campsites are cozy and can accommodate up to a 4 person tent and is best suited for 1-2 people. Each site is $25 (in addition to your general camping pass). Only 10 premium camping spots at Quiet Camp this year, so snatch yours up now!

WALK-IN CAMPSITES. Tucked into the southeastern corner of our property, our Walk-In Campsites are a bit further removed from the energy of Quiet Camp. We will have wheelbarrows available to help move your gear in, but this is a tent-only area, so absolutely NO CARS.

FAMILY CAMP. A lush area designed specifically for families in mind. The heat and energy of a big festival can be overwhelming for young ones, so we’ve created a space where families can unwind from the stimulation of Country Fair. With a bit of shade, some play spaces for the kids, and a bit further removed from the epicenter of Quiet Camp, we hope you and your little ones will enjoy a pocket of solace during the festivities. This area is available on a first come, first served basis and is intended to be a gentle, mellow space for our campers who don’t do the full-on-all-night-jammin’-till-the-sun-comes-up thing. However, please keep in mind that this is a campground with thousands of campers. Quiet Camp makes NO guarantees regarding a totally quiet and peaceful night’s sleep. This is a festival and music and merriment will be made. Please remember to bring earplugs…a cheap and easy solution for all ages! We will have them for sale as well. There is limited room for vehicle access to this area and with the safety of kids in mind, we ask that cars be parked in a nearby designated space (approx. 100 feet away), and that you walk your camping equipment in. We will have wheelbarrows available to help move your gear.

Camping and parking is first come, first served. No in and out driving. No exceptions.

Any vehicle left at Quiet Camp past 4pm on Monday will be towed at owner’s expense.

BATHROOMS, SHOWERS, & DRINKING WATER: There are plenty of Porta-Potties and 6 private outdoor, hot-water showers for use during your stay at Quiet Camp. The Porta-Potties are serviced and cleaned throughout the weekend. If you’d like to reserve your own private Porta-Potty, please send an email to quietcamp@gmail.com. The fee is $70 for the weekend. Showers are also cleaned and well-maintained throughout the weekend and are available 24 hours a day. A suggested donation of $4 per shower is requested to help us cover the cost of the extra water use. Nearby the showers, we have a large outdoor sink which can be used for washing dishes and filling water jugs. We’re on our own well, so no harsh minerals or chemicals like you’ll find in city water!

CHARGING STATIONS: Need a place to charge your phone, computer, or tablet? Come on over to the charging station where you can hang out in the shade, plug in, and charge up. We have some picnic tables, shade, and loads of plugs to keep you connected!

MINORS: All ages are warmly welcome however minors camping (under 18 years of age) MUST be accompanied and supervised by an adult 25 years of age or older, or with a legal guardian. In addition, there is a limit of 4 minors per adult. This adult is responsible for the actions of the minors under their care. Underage campers cannot register to camp or receive a wristband without being accompanied by an adult. That adult must be camping WITH THEM for the weekend. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age. Bring your ID.

Aggressive, loud, or disrespectful behavior and drunkenness will not be tolerated. Anyone disregarding these guidelines will be asked to leave the campground or may be removed by security or local police.

**We’ve sold out the past few years, please purchase your tickets in advance!**

Each year, 5% of the revenue generated during Quiet Camp is donated directly the Lane Arts Council to support music and art programs for youth in Veneta, Elmira, and other surrounding communities.
