Our Campground

Quiet Camp is one of only a handful of campsites that offer camping for the Oregon Country Fair.  Situated on pastoral acreage bordering the forested banks of the Long Tom River, Quiet Camp provides camping opportunities for RV’s, camper vans, and tents. This ‘rustic camping’ environment welcomes festival goers and gentle jammers who are willing to be respectful, peaceful, and neighborly.

Camping is open to Oregon Country Fair attendees who are willing to engage in a camping community where mutual respect, caring, and calm prevail. Loud or aggressive campers are not welcome. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for any form of harassment.

We campsites to accommodate just about everyone…from ultralight solo campers to groups of families and friends to glampers in 40′ RVs.

PASTURE LAZIN’. The west side of the campground is rolling farm land. The majority of our guests camp here. Campsites in this area are for campers who wish to have their vehicles with them at the campsite. There is not a lot of shade in the pasture, so please bring supplies to create a bit of a shady respite for yourself! This area is best suited for campers who wish to camp in or near their vehicle.

RIVERWALK WALK-IN’S. Tucked into the southeastern corner of our property, our Walk-In Campsites are a bit further removed from the energy of Quiet Camp. We will have wheelbarrows available to help move your gear in, but this is a tent-only area, so absolutely NO CARS.

FAMILY CAMP. A lush area designed specifically for families in mind. The heat and energy of a big festival can be overwhelming for young ones, so we’ve created a space where families can unwind from the stimulation of Country Fair. With a bit of shade, some play spaces for the kids, and a bit further removed from the epicenter of Quiet Camp, we hope you and your little ones will enjoy a pocket of solace during the festivities. This area is available on a first come, first served basis and is intended to be a gentle, mellow space for our campers who don’t do the full-on-all-night-jammin’-till-the-sun-comes-up thing. However, please keep in mind that this is a campground with thousands of campers. Quiet Camp makes NO guarantees regarding a totally quiet and peaceful night’s sleep. This is a festival and music and merriment will be made. Please remember to bring earplugs…a cheap and easy solution for all ages! For the safety of the kids and the peace-of-mind for parents, there is no vehicle access to this area. Cars can be parked in a nearby designated space (approx. 100 feet away). We will have wheelbarrows available to help move your gear.

Camping and parking is first come, first served. No in and out driving. No exceptions.

There are plenty of Porta-Potties and 6 private outdoor, hot-water showers for use during your stay at Quiet Camp. The Porta-Potties are serviced and cleaned throughout the weekend. If you’d like to reserve your own private Porta-Potty, please send an email to quietcamp@gmail.com. The fee is $70 for the weekend.

Our over-sized showers and changing rooms are also cleaned and well-maintained throughout the weekend. A suggested donation of $4 per shower is requested to help us cover the cost of the extra water use.

Nearby the showers, we have a large outdoor sink which can be used for washing dishes. We’re on our own well, so no harsh minerals or chemicals like you’ll find in city water!

We host a bonfire and entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights from about 6pm-10pm. Come join us around the fire for an evening of all-ages music that will get your toes tapping and soul shaking. Celebration and camaraderie is what its all about.

Need a place to charge your phone, computer, or tablet? Come on over to the charging station where you can hang out in the shade, plug in, and charge up. We have some picnic tables, shade, and loads of plugs to keep you connected!

From strong steaming hot coffee to strawberry pancakes to stick-to-your-ribs homestyle Italian food, make sure you stop by any one of our food trucks to get your fill. Damn good gluten-free and vegan options too!

If you are interested in becoming a food vendor, you must have a current food service license. Please contact us or send an email at quietcamp@gmail.com for more information.

Each year, 5% of the revenue generated during Quiet Camp is donated directly the Lane Arts Council to support music and art programs for youth in Veneta, Elmira, and other surrounding communities.

Aggressive, loud, or disrespectful behavior and drunkenness will not be tolerated. Absolutely no generators can be used 10pm-8am. Anyone acting inappropriately/defiantly will be asked to leave the campground or may be removed by security or local police.
